How do I find the template or attachments for an assignment?

Some assignments come with attachments and templates; here's how to find them.

Some of the assignments that you do on the Blended Teaching platform include attached templates that you complete as part of the work. A couple of things to keep in mind:

  1. The assignments are all slightly different, but they do try to follow a general structure.
  2. Many assignments have multiple parts, but only one template. This is common. The template may have multiple pages or multiple tabs, one for each part. Make sure to check through the template thoroughly as it may save time later.

Here's how to find and download the attachments and templates:

If you are using Blended Teaching inside of Canvas or Blackboard (i.e. Blended Teaching is fully integrated), the templates can usually be downloaded by clicking on the "Attachments" button at the top of certain pages. You can tell which pages have downloadable attachments, as they have paperclips (📎) at the end of their title in the index.

 

If you are using Blended Teaching outside of Canvas or Blackboard (i.e. Blended Teaching is not fully integrated), you can download the attachments by clicking on the relevant file type icons that appear at the top of the page.
